Jorge Urbina Díaz, Angeleno born in Michoacán, was an elite boxer during the 1980s,
a contender for the World Title in 1987. After his retirement,
the lack of social welfare drove him to living on the streets of Rampart Village.
40 years later, when asked for a picture, Jorge automatically turns to his boxing pose.
He cleans the street every day with his handmade broom: "Everyone should live in a clean home".
Mark is a veteran from Iraq, where he lost half his face and craneum.
His hat, merch of T-Mobile, reads "Mobilize for service".
After living in Skid Row for many years, art has helped him find his way.
He now lives in Koreatown, and is thinking about making his first exhibition.
Jeremiah, an usual sight in the Expo Rose Garden. He likes to make drawings of the
people around the park as gifts for them.
